Slightly Disappointed...

I was going to write a review of Wasabi Mon Amour today, but I received very shocking news that disappointed me SO much, I'm delaying the review. Just as I started to LOVE Best Selling Secrets, I received the news that Esther is leaving Best Selling Secrets. TVB is also adding Wong Hei and Suki Chui in it too! I don't think BSS needs more add-ons, ESPCIALLY if Esther is going to leave. Suki Chui is a new actress from a pageant that she didn't even win. She doesn't have much experience, and her acting isn't that good... Seriously, all she knows how to do is SHOW OFF.
Well, either way, I respect all Esther's decisions, and I will continue to support her. I wish her the best. Now, all I hope for BSS is that Suki Chui and Wong Hei won't ruin it, like they ruined The Green Grass of Home, and Fathers and Sons. I didn't like their appearance in both. I also hope there will be a GOOD, REASONABLE, AND A VERY SATISFIED ending for Esther and Geoffrey Wong's character. Hope they explain Esther's absence very well, and not make up some dumb explanation...

The Seventh Day

I've started to watch "The Seventh Day" recently, and it's really interesting. I love how they set the plot, and introduced the characters. Natalie seems to cause Bosco trouble each time they meet, but in Bosco's point of view, she seems to help him every time they meet. Niki seems to dislike Kevin a lot, and I suppose he thinks she is very silly and a little crazy. I love Niki and Natalie's name in the series. Niki's name is Ling Ka Yan, but she has a hilarious nickname called "Ka Ling Yat"... lol Natalie's English name is funny, it's SaSa... lol.

"Wasabi Mon Amour" is coming to an end soon... So, that means, I'll be writing a review for it. I think the series is quite funny, but, at times it gets mad boring, and I feel like not watching it any more. Best Selling Secrets is going to end up to being 328 episodes, and I can't wait to watch more of Esther! There's finally some progress between her and Geoffrey. She finally slowly developed feelings for him.. hehe. I love Vin Choi and Yoyo Chen together... MUCH better than Jeanette Leung with Vin. Jeanette truly gets on my nerves.

I'm going to watch Wasabi Mon Amour, Best Selling Secrets, and The Seventh Day! Au Revior!

Review for "The Gentle Crackdown II"

Finally finished with this series, and have time to write a review! I really enjoyed this series!

Drama Name: The Gentle Crackdown II
Episodes: 20
Main Cast:
Steven Ma as Tse Wong Sheung
Yumiko Cheng as Chan Sai Mui

Quick Synopsis: (Note: Summary is from en.wikipedia.org. Due to the fact that I didn't know what to write, I will be using the summary from Wikipedia.)
Having lost her father at an early age, farm security guard Chan Sai Mui (Yumiko Cheng) grew to be an outspoken and determined woman who would do her utmost to protect her home village. It is her sincerity that has won her respect from all villagers of the Leung Choi County. Sometimes she would get too enthusiastic and impulsive that she could bring about a lot of misunderstandings. Amusingly, she has mistaken the newly appointed agricultural official Tse Wong Sheung (literal meaning "Thank you, Emperor") (Steven Ma) for a thief and the two of them have been bitter enemies ever since. To keep himself from any possible trouble, Sheung has been avoiding Mui intentionally.
For the benefit of his son's future, Sheung's father Tse Chong Tin (Ha Yu) has not only invited the intelligent Tai Chung Man (Wayne Lai) to be Sheung's assistant, but also found him four special bodyguards namely Chuk, Fun, Meen and Fan. Despite the best arrangements for Sheung, he still gets framed by the corrupted officials from Changsha and is in danger of facing the most torturing punishment. Luckily, Mui and Man manage to save him in the nick of time with a jade bowl bestowed by the former emperor. To everyone's surprise, the jade bowl turns out a fake, but with Man's wit and courage, Sheung is finally saved from danger. Mui has been through a lot together with Sheung and is starting to fall in love with him. Sheung, on the other hand, has no feelings for Mui and decides to turn to Man for tips as to how to break away from her. Mysteriously, Sheung starts being pursued by a hitman soon afterwards.

Happy Happy...

I got my progress reports, report cards yesterday.... I got an average of 95.25. I was really happy, because I got the second highest average in our class. =] I got into the honor roll, once again. I get in it every year!! The lowest score I got was in gym (physical education). It's not because I play bad--- I play the best, cause I love sports! It's because... I don't wear my gym uniform, so that averaged into an 80. Thank god that gym doesn't get averaged to my total score. I got 2 97's, one in English and Math. I got a 95 in Social Studies (History), and a 92 in Science.

Due to school, I haven't had much time to watch TVB series. But, I am almost done with The Gentle Crackdown II and Wasabi Mon Amour. I'll begin the review as soon as I finish them...
So, stay tuned!!!

Happy Chinese New Year! 新年快樂!

新年快樂! Happy Chinese New Year to all! 祝大家新年快樂, 身體健康! 恭喜發財! Hope everyone gets a lot of red enevelopes...
Receiving red enevelopes is nice, but it's also a big waste. People just take the money and throw out the enevelope. Let me teach you a very good way to reuse the red enevelopes. Save them for next year, which can save money too. If there are pictures on it, of the year of the animal, save it and use it 12 years later... lol. Isn't it a good way to save??
I won't be attending school tomorrow at Chinese New Year. I'll be staying home and celebrating... hehe, and also getting money. I want to buy new shoes!!!

Review of "War of In-Laws II"

Hmm.. I've finished this series in ages, but I was just too lazy to write a review... lol. I've been really busy with school work lately. The teachers are piling me with homework, homework and more homework.

Drama Name: War of In-Laws II
Episodes: 20
Main Cast:
Myolie Wu as Chow Lai Man
Liza Wang as Kor Bik, Ophelia/Fiona
Bosco Wong as Kor Dak, Kyle

Quick Synopsis:
Kor Bik, Ophelia is a chief editor at a fashion magazine called Elva. She shows no mercy to her enemies and does everything she can to keep her son Kor Dak, Kyle (Bosco Wong) under her hands. She can't afford to lose anything. She is over confident that she can determine her son's future life. A plain, geeky looking girl named Chow Lai Man (Myolie Wu) has already managed to marry Kyle. Later Man resigns from the police force and chooses to work as a magazine journalist, at her mother in law's magazine, which leads to even more conflicts between her and Ophelia.
Not long after, Ophelia gets into a scandal and gets framed by her assistant Ko Ka Bo, CoCo (Joyce Tang), which causes her to lose her place all of a sudden. Facing a dramatic career slump and her horrible relationship with her son and daughter in-law, Ophelia moves to her mansion in Lamma Island. She meets someone, the smart and talented But Ping Fan (Benz Hui) who was once a convict. From Fan, Ophelia has learned how to reflect on herself and let go of the past. As everything seems to be going fine, Man discovers that Elva is in danger or falling apart.

My Comments and Feedback:
I really enjoyed watching this series. It created moods, which were happiness, sad, and hilarious moments to remember. I loved this series. It was great to watch after a tiring day. All the actors and actresses did a fabulous job in the series. It was better than the ancient series that preceded this series.

Favorite Actor: Bosco Wong (obviously...)
